HOFF STARLETTE 3V9 was purchased at the 2006 Hoff Scotch Cap dispersion sale at 13 years of age. She is the grand-dam of Hoff Limited Edition who has 1300 progeny recorded in Australia and has been one of the most influential sires used within the Raff Angus herd. Breeders Doug and Molly Hoff’s sale catalogue comments on Starlette 3V9 were – ‘Here’s the Pathfinder grandma of Hoff Limited Edition that’s 13 years old and looking like 3. No wonder Limited Edition is holding up so well. Most Angus bulls go to pieces at age 4 or 5, and he still out breeds the 3 year olds at age 8. This cow should certainly be flushed as she’d be a much needed breed improver.’
